Alice the Sailor

This little doll took me quite some time, patience, and much love to complete, but she turned out just how I imagined her. And now Alice is finally ready to find her new home!

Alice is a sweet handmade doll, made entirely by me with the finest natural materials.

She is 18” long and has a light tan skin. Her blue-grey eyes and a small mouth are embroidered. Her body is made with swiss tricot and stuffed firmly with carded, clean eco-wool. Alice has thick curly hair, made with wefted mohair and attached securely to her head, which allows a lot of opportunities for styling. She can be hand washed and will withstand many years of play and love.

Alice will arrive with two full outfits.

- The first one consists of a lovely “Liberty of London” floral dress with a Peter Pan style collar and ruffled cotton tulle petticoat. The dress has nickel free snaps in the back and is lined with Swiss cotton voile. Her underwear is made of organic cotton jersey and has elastic on legs and waist for a perfect fit. The cardigan is hand-knitted with beautiful alpaca/silk yarn, and the wool crochet shoes have tiny buttons on the side.

- Her second outfit consists of a stylish organic linen sailor dress with a silk bow, organic cotton leggings (with elastic waistband) and cotton crochet shoes with small wooden buttons.

In addition, Alice will come with different ribbons, a matching “Liberty of London” French barrette, and a linen envelope bag for her extra clothing.

Alice is recommended for older children or adults due to small parts that may pose a choking risk.

Miss Alice will be for sale auction style starting Saturday, May 11th at 9 p.m. EST in my Hyena Cart shop and will end at 10 p.m. EST Sunday, May 12.
