Once there was a little town, and in that town, there lived a girl named Taissa. In the summer, you could find her in the woods, gathering berries and herbs, or in the kitchen - cooking, drying herbs and hanging their fragrant bunches in the window. Nobody made elderberry syrup better than Taissa, and all of her neighbors constantly came up with reasons to stop by her little house - to get a piece of her wonderfully-smelling blueberry pie or a sip of Chaga chai. But in the winter, when a piercing wind would blow through town and most people, pulling the blankets over their heads, would go to sleep, she would go out for a walk wearing her favorite red dress and a warm cashmere sweater.

If you ever visit this town to meet Taissa, just ring the bell at the wooden gate. This little girl likes to welcome guests and always has something tasty in store to share with them.

Taissa is a natural fiber art doll, which measures about 16” tall. She has been made with Swiss jersey and stuffed very firmly with organic wool. She has an armature in her neck that allows her to slightly tilt the head. Her hair is beautiful goat mohair, the face is needle-felted, the freckles hand-painted, and her brown eyes are embroidered.

Taissa wears a fully lined Liberty of London dress with a cotton batiste underskirt, wool panties, a hand-knitted cashmere cardigan, and a pair of linen/wool boots.
