Easter Bunny
"Would you like to know a secret?
Well, I'll tell you one I know:
The Easter's Bunny's coming,
My mama told me so."
Sometime last year, on one of those warm, early-spring evenings, my oldest daughter was reading to her siblings, who were getting ready to fall asleep. All of a sudden they heard a noise, as though somebody was hopping up the stairs. They knew that there was nobody else around and they didn’t hear anybody entering the house. They stopped reading and listened. The hopping noise repeated. A bit overwhelmed, the children decided to pretend that they were sleeping. The door opened and a small bunny appeared. He hopped to the window, put a basket of colored eggs and chocolate on the window sill and vanished... When I came in, I saw nobody besides my children sleeping peacefully in their beds....
Recently, we met this bunny coloring eggs and preparing gifts for children. Who knows, maybe he is going to visit your home this spring?
Easter Bunny is 20" long and is made with pure Irish linen and stuffed with sweet-smelling eco-wool. Her arms are button jointed and the legs are sewn to her body. The bunny is wearing a beautiful organic linen peasant dress with a big pocket to carry the treats; Liberty print pants, fully lined with Swiss cotton voile and elastic at the waist for a better fit; baby alpaca hand crochet Mary janes with small buttons; and a lovely silk bow for a festive appearance. She will carry an additional silk/cotton blouse and a luxuriously soft and warm Italian cashmere vest, lined with Liberty and trimmed with matching silk.
The bunny is recommended for a child 5+ or an adult collector.
She is up for sale in my Etsy shop.
