I like to think of the art of doll-making as inspiring and calming. I fill each doll I make with love, and hope that this loving energy will carry through to the people who bring my dolls into their families. Welcome to my journal, where I share my creative adventures. Hope you have a pleasant stay!
Hello friends!
Iām very excited to open registration for this workshop. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to email me.
This class will focus on sculpting a head for a natural-fiber art doll and covering it with skin fabric. It will only provide the instruction on how to make the head, so you will need to complete the doll on your own (the body pattern with the instruction on how to attach the head to the body will be provided though).
The class will be suitable for those who already have some experience in dollmaking and needle-felting.
We will be working on the head of a 32 cm. doll. You will learn how to:
create a firm head that will endure for years without loosing its shape,
achieve a harmonious, more realistic look without exaggerating the face features,
cover the head with skin fabric without wrinkles
This class will be held in Paris, France on December 7th. It will run from
10 am to about 6.30 pm.
The price for the class is 340 euro. It includes: wool, two felting needles, body pattern with instructions, and lunch.
You will be requested to bring skin fabric to cover the doll's head in the color of your choice.
The registration is open and you can book a spot HERE. Limited space available.
Can't wait to meet you!
