Hello and welcome to the studio!

I’m very excited to open a registration for a doll-making workshop that will take place on July 16th, 2022 (Saturday).

The class will be taught ONLINE from 10 am- 5 pm (EST)

This workshop is designed for beginners in doll-making, as well as for those who already have some experience, but would like to develop further their skills in doll-making.

You will create a 16-17” Waldorf-inspired doll and get the practical skills and tools needed to create more dolls with their own character and style.

What skills are necessary to create this doll?

To be able to create a doll you will need a basic machine and hand-sewing knowledge (threading a small needle, sewing running and ladder stitches).

What is the class fee and what is included?

The price is $265 USD. It includes a Live class via Zoom, the doll’s body pattern, a dress pattern (You will receive a PDF template for the pattern pieces about a week prior to the class). The class will be recorded, so you will be able to watch the video as many times as you want for six months after the workshop is finished.

This price does not include any materials or tools that you will need to create the doll.

What tools and materials needed?

  • Cotton Doll skin fabric - (De Witte Engel's cotton doll jersey - Prefered - color of your choice) - 10 x 31.5 inches packaged or 1/3 of a yard + matching sewing thread

  • A piece of quilting cotton for the body and arms - 9” x 25”

  • Sewing machine (not needed for the class, but for stitching doll’s body for the class)

  • Hand-sewing needles and a doll-making needle (Dritz Long Doll Needle – 5″ - don’t buy other brands - they are too thick)
