Madmoiselle Lara

My lovely mademoiselle Lara is a dreamer... She dreams of beautiful lands far-far beyond the sea and of dancing through lush fields of wild flowers and smelling their sweet aroma...

Little Lara is a 21" doll with fair skin and a slim body, made with swiss jersey and stuffed firmly with eco- wool. Her hair is fine wefted mohair, crocheted into a wig, and her face is hand embroidered. She also has little ears, knees, elbows and a cute little bum. Lara is coming with two lovely outfits. The first one consists of a Liberty print blouse with 3/4 length sleeves and two snaps in the back, a cashmere/cotton jumper with a little button in the back, long organic cotton stockings, cotton undies, and crochet mohair Mary-janes with little velvet buttons. Her sweater is hand-knitted with beautiful cashmere wool. Born in a cold snowy winter, Lara insisted on my making her a wool dress, which is fully lined with swiss cotton voile and features a Peter Pan style collar. Her barrette is wet felted and has tiny glass beads in the middle.
